Corbin's S-VSTRM-R Rear Seat is made specifically for Suzuki DL1000 V-Strom (2002-2013) & DL650 V-Strom (2002-2011).

- Approx. seat height: 31.5" (measured on DL 650)
- Front seat sold separately.
- Installation is simple. We include a bracket that relocates the Suzuki key lock to work with the Corbin two piece system. Once this bracket is in place, you can remove the saddles using the stock key lock.
- Sorry, Smuggler trunk is no longer available for this model.
- Corbin seats (with very few exceptions) include Genuine Leather Seating to provide a luxurious look and feel.
Corbin's modular system is all about convenience... well, it's all about convenience AND comfort. Our modular seat system is a two piece saddle design that provides comfort for you and a passenger.
Our saddles greatly enhance comfort by ergonomically dispersing your weight over a greater area. Built up of Corbin's Comfort Cell Space foam to provide miles of supportive comfort for longer riding range. Our exclusive foam material feels firm at first, but doesn't break down like the stock foam keeping your body supported indefinitely.
After an initial break-in period, the Corbin seat will adapt to your body to provide an even greater degree of comfort and weight distribution. Additionally, the rider's seating position has been neutralized to reduce the tendency to slide towards the tank under braking. Notice also how the seat is shaped to provide support for your legs while your feet are on the footpegs, but is shaved in the nose area to allow good ground reach.
In the rear, our passenger seat is engineered to accept an optional removable passenger backrest for added comfort and support. Choose from a range of styles to suit your taste and the amount of support desired. Backrests are fully adjustable to provide a tailored fit to copilots posture and install or remove easily when desired. Please note, our backrest will not work with the Suzuki trunk installed on your bike.
All components are engineered to fit perfect to the tank, chassis and tail section. Manufactured with a fibertech basepan for unsurpassed fit, Corbin's seat rides on rubber bumpers to protect the motorcycle's paint job. We include all brackets required for installation. Once the bracket is in place, the rear seat & Smuggler can easily be swapped out using the OEM key lock.
All Corbin saddles come standard with genuine leather seating inserts for a true touch of luxury. For the V-Strom, we recommend our Carbon Fiber laminated leather seating with Asphalt vinyl sides for a nice accent. Leather will provide a seating surface that breathes with your body and will adapt with the foam during break in for a perfectly personalized fit. Just be sure to care for it properly with a quality leather conditioner like our Saddle Cream to help it age gracefully and remain weather resistant.

FIBERTECH BASEPAN: A purpose built, hybrid material that provides a firm foundation to support the carefully designed ergonomics of the Corbin saddle. Provides a precision fit to every arc and contour of the machine and rides on rubber bumpers to protect your paint. We always design our basepans as flat as possible so bumps or odd shapes don't telegraph through the foam to your body.

ERGONOMIC SHAPING: A major part of the design criteria of the Corbin saddle is the Ergonomic shape. This means the saddle's foam shape is designed to emulate the curves of the human body. This provides more square inches of body contact and helps to eliminate hot spots. This shaping also neutralizes the seating platform to help curb sliding in the saddle which reduces fatigue. PATENTED MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGY: Always an innovator, Mike Corbin invented Integrated Molding technology which is now the process by which all Corbin saddles are made. This process allows extremely tight tolerances and creates a chemical bond between the foam and base material.

CORBIN BACKREST SYSTEM: The first and most versatile removable backrest system available for motorcycles! Corbin's backrests provide added vertical back support and long range comfort. KEY LOCK INSTALLATION: This saddle model uses a new mounting system designed by Corbin to allow installation and removable with a simple key lock. Once the included brackets are installed, the saddle can be removed easily by just inserting and turning the key.
MODULAR SEAT SYSTEM: This component is part of Corbin's patented modular seat system (US Patent #7,556,114). Engineered to work in a variety of configurations to provide maximum versatility on your motorcycle.
