Simple to install... Our plated steel backrest shaft slides into a special receptacle built into (or bolted into) the Corbin saddle. In most cases, the backrest locks in with a single safety screw under the seat. Backrest angle adjustment is simple and does NOT require removal of the backrest. A single set-screw handles it all.
We don't recommend using a painted finishing plate on a 02-S in the rider's position WHILE you are carrying a passenger. Their legs may scuff the paint after some mileage.
Corbin saddles (with very few exceptions) include Genuine Leather Seating to provide a luxurious look and feel.

The 02-S looks perfectly at home on a cruiser or a sportbike. Naturally this model will work properly in all Corbin seat models that accept a removable backrest. For seats that take two rests, you can use it in the front as a Rider's rest or in the rear as a Passenger rest.

The angle of the backrest easily adjusts to individual's posture for a tailored fit. Naturally, we've curved the contact area to make it fit your back ergonomically. This creates a greater area of body contact and maximum comfort. We build it up with the same materials that have made Corbin the first name in Motorcycle saddles. Have your backrest covered to match your seat with a range of leather and color options. In addition, we offer several styles of finishing plate to customize it even further.

This model backrest has the option of a Chrome finishing plate! This is the only backing plate model that is not ABS. Stamped steel plate is beautifully polished and chrome plated for a very high end look. Adds a very nice finishing touch for cruiser models that have a lot of chrome bits on them. Upgrade your existing plate to a chrome one for just $70 or specify Chrome plate when ordering a new backrest.

Another option available is our Glovebox. This piece bolts on in place of a finishing plate and offers four liters of storage capacity. Comes complete and ready to install in either gloss black or any color match we currently offer for our other accessories.
