Corbin's KC Canyon Dual Sport Seat is made specifically for Kawasaki Concours 1400 (1986-2007).
Features:
- Canyon Dual Sport Seat and optional backrest for Kawasaki Concours.
- Mounts with stock brackets transferred from your OEM seat onto the Corbin saddle. You will need to adjust them on the slots to match the lock mechanism for proper latching, sometimes this takes a little patience. Once adjusted, tighen them securely and you're ready to go.
- When designing this saddle, we provided additional room in the rider seating area to allow you to move around more on long trips. Adding to the length of the seating area enables you to slide fore and aft as needed.
- Corbin seats (with very few exceptions) include Genuine Leather Seating to provide a luxurious look and feel.
Canyon Dual Sport saddle design provides excellent sport touring comfort for two riders while providing a nice, clean look on your bike. Corbin's ergonomic design maximizes the body contact area to create more square inches of support in both the rider and passenger areas. For your passenger's added comfort and security, the Canyon Dual Sport accepts a removable passenger backrest. Inside, the saddle is constructed with our exclusive Comfort Cell® foam to provide firm support that lasts.
Our removable passenger backrest is easily adjustable to tailor its fit to your co-pilot's posture. A simple setscrew on the rear of the backrest sets the angle without removing the backrest from the seat. Installation of the backrest is also very simple and requires a single screw under the saddle. Backrest support hardware is built inside the seat to keep a very clean look on your bike without external brackets.
Notice how close the Corbin saddle fits to the tank, tail section and sides... this kind of fit comes only from a Corbin saddle and our unique Fibertech basepan. Our rigid base material not only fits perfect to the bike, but also provides a firm foundation to support the carefully designed foam shape. Corbin's ergonomic shaping creates a visually pleasing look on the motorcycle and adds to the custom appeal. This shape also creates a generous seating bucket for comfort and is sculpted narrow in the nose for good ground reach.
On top, we include your choice of genuine leather seating panels in a wide range of colors and textures. The images above show our Black Carbon-Fiber leather seating with coordinating Carbon Fiber embossed vinyl sides for clean, sporty looks. Choose from a range of color options at no additional charge! Your Corbin backrest can be made to match.
We use genuine leather seating in all of our saddle models because it breathes with your body and will conform along with the foam shape during break in. This provides an added bit of luxury on those long rides. In the side panels, we use a coordinating vinyl material that will support the foam shape and keep the saddle looking sharp longer. Be sure to care for you leather saddle properly with a quality conditioner like our Saddle Cream. This will help the leather to remain supple and weather resistant while it matures gracefully.
A final bit of customizing options is the removable finishing plate on the rear of our Ovalbac model backrests. The standard plate comes in an ABS leather look, but we can also supply one with a Carbon-Fiber look, an Aluminum look or even primer if you'd like to have it custom painted. For just a little extra, we can even supply a model that is prepainted Gloss Black or even Chrome.
