Sturdy alloy construction utilizes a wall thickness of at least 1.5 mm with precision robot welded seams and punch riveted trim for serious durability that is completely dust/waterproof. All the corners on this German engineered side case are beveled to improve structural rigidity and aesthetics while eliminating sharp edges. Heavy-duty stainless steel latches are used to fasten the hinged lid and secure the luggage itself to the rack. Optional locking cores can be added in each latch to keep the lid locked, but also to prevent theft of the side case as the luggage will then lock to your side carrier.
