R&G Racing's CR0065BK Offset Cotton Reel Swingarm Spools are made specifically for Yamaha YZF-R6 (2017-2020), Tracer 9 (GT) / MT-09 (SP) (2021-current) & XSR900 (2022-current).

The R&G offset cotton reel swingarm spools provide protection in the event of a fall or slide while also serving as a secure lifting point on the rear end. Hearty machined aluminum axle blocks replace the original equipment and position the protective bobbins so they are clear of the exhaust system throughout suspension travel. Robust swingarm spools are machined from impact absorbing and abrasion resistant High Density Polyethylene (HDPE). Expensive components such as the swingarm, rear axle, rear brake, chain and sprocket are spared from contacting the ground.

General maintenance including tire changes, chain cleaning/adjustment becomes much easier and more enjoyable as a paddock stand can support the motorcycle so it stands upright with the rear tire off the ground. By mounting the sliders to the axle blocks strength is also improved compared to traditional threaded cotton reels as it eliminates the risk of damaging the swingarm (during a strong enough impact that would crack or snap off swingarm mounting tabs).
