Puig's 22039N Skid Plate, Black is made specifically for Yamaha Tenere 700 (2019-current).

Protect the underside of the Yamaha Tenere 700 engine with Puig's skid plate. With a simple yet aggressive design, Puig's skid plate is longer than the original part it replaces, offering protection for the catalytic converter and suspension-areas highly exposed during off-road riding. Its installation enhances the protection of sensitive parts, such as the engine’s underside, from impacts with rocks, mud, and other debris.

The bottom of the skid plate is flat, making it easier to lift the bike if needed. Additionally, in case of overcoming an obstacle by dragging the skid plate, it facilitates sliding.

It features a small hole for oil changes without the need for complete removal and includes openings designed for cooling and draining water, mud, or stones encountered along the way.

Designed and manufactured at Puig's facilities in Barcelona specifically for the Tenere 700. Made from a single high-quality 4 mm aluminum sheet and painted matte black, ensuring extra protection against weather conditions.

It is attached to the bike via rubber anti-vibration mounts that absorb potential impacts received by the skid plate, distributing force across various mounting points to minimize damage and reduce noise and vibrations.

The installation is quick and easy, requiring no mechanical knowledge, simply by following the provided instructions.

It adapts perfectly to the lower part of the motorcycle, integrating into the whole while giving it a more adventurous and personalized image. Its installation does not affect the aerodynamics of the motorcycle.

The lower part of the protector is completely flat, which makes it easier to lift the motorcycle from the lower part in the mechanical workshop if necessary, and it has holes to guarantee good cooling and to evacuate water, mud, or small accumulated stones. In addition to facilitating the oil change operation avoiding removing the protector.

Designed and manufactured in Barcelona, it is made of high-end 4mm-thick aluminum, resulting in a very resistant piece as well as light, and has a matt silver anodized finish. It includes specific metal supports with anti-corrosion treatment painted in textured black for a discreet and elegant finish.

The protector is fixed to the lower part of the motorcycle with anti-vibration rubber supports that absorb any possible blows that the protector may receive, distributing the impact force through the different fixing points and, in turn, eliminating possible annoying noises that exist when these rubbers are not being used.
