- The Corbin saddle has been made as low as practical with a focus on comfort. Neutralizing the seating position on this motorcycle makes our saddle slightly taller than the OEM unit.

Naturally, we set out to design a seat to fit the bike visually as well as improving the quality of your ride... Corbin's saddle does just that!
Our high density Comfort Cell foam allows a sleek profile while providing a firm supportive ride that lasts. Rider seating is ergonomically shaped to fit the curve of your body and provide better weight distribution. This also helps to eliminate the centralized pressure felt from the stock seat. In the nose area, we sculpt the saddle narrow to allow for ground reach.
For a solo look, the Gunfighter tail section is shaped to emulate the lines of the bodywork with a fastback tail section. On the inside, the tail is padded and upholstered to provide for short trip passenger capability. Although the shaping of the tail is designed primarily for looks, the Comfort Cell foam still provides a good perch for your copilot on short to medium length trips.
Notice how close the Corbin saddle fits to the bodywork... this kind of fit comes only from a Corbin saddle and our unique Fibertech basepan. Our rigid base material not only fits perfect to the bike, but provides a firm foundation to support the carefully designed foam shape. Corbin's ergonomic shaping creates a visually pleasing look on the motorcycle and adds to the custom appeal.
On top, we include your choice of a variety of materials for a luxurious ride and custom looks. Above we've done something pretty rare and made an asymmetrical cover pattern to match up to the M1000 graphics. Naturally, you can build your saddle any way you like, but if you'd like a setup like this one, please leave details in the notes area of your order form. For an added luxurious touch, this saddle is available with the option of an electric seat heater. With the flip of a conveniently located switch built into the left side of the saddle, the rider seating platform will heat up and maintain temperature automatically. Simple to install with just a pigtail wiring to your bike's fusebox. All other components are built into the saddle and come preinstalled.
We made this saddle as low as practical while maintaining the best possible seating comfort and removing the downward slant of the stock seat. This effectively raises the seat height slightly from the OEM unit.
Mounts to the motorcycle just like stock and secures with the BMW key lock system. All brackets are included and premounted on the seat so it's ready for immediate installation.

FIBERTECH BASEPAN: A purpose built, hybrid material that provides a firm foundation to support the carefully designed ergonomics of the Corbin saddle. Provides a precision fit to every arc and contour of the machine and rides on rubber bumpers to protect your paint. We always design our basepans as flat as possible so bumps or odd shapes don't telegraph through the foam to your body.

ERGONOMIC SHAPING: A major part of the design criteria of the Corbin saddle is the Ergonomic shape. This means the saddle's foam shape is designed to emulate the curves of the human body. This provides more square inches of body contact and helps to eliminate hot spots. This shaping also neutralizes the seating platform to help curb sliding in the saddle which reduces fatigue. PATENTED MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGY: Always an innovator, Mike Corbin invented Integrated Molding technology which is now the process by which all Corbin saddles are made. This process allows extremely tight tolerances and creates a chemical bond between the foam and base material.
GENUINE LEATHER: We use leather in all panels of the seat that contact your body. This provides a luxurious ride that breathes with your body. Leather will also break in along with the foam shape to support the personalized fit. Available in a wide range of textures and styles to suit your taste.
