The Barkbusters Handguards provide impact protection for your hands and handlebar controls. The two-point-mount design utilizes robust heat-treated aluminum backbones which bolt from the bar-end to just in front of the controls creating a perimeter of defense around the front brake/clutch levers. These high quality handguards are highly recommend to keep your hands safe during a mishap, while filtering through traffic or bombing through some single track. The levers are also protected from unintended interference when riding in groups or racing elbow to elbow. Without coverage, a light bump to the front brake lever could instantly lock the front tire and send you flying over the bars. Add a set of plastic Jet, VPS or Storm deflectors for even greater protection from wind, weather, insects, stones and other debris.
