• Bike-to-bike communication can be either push-to-talk (using either the PTT control on the unit or the external handle-bar mount button) or automatic voice-activated (with low or high VOX sensitivity select). Exclusive Nady SuperVOXª design has 2 performance advantages over conventional voice activated systems: (1) it eliminates the possibility of false triggering into transmission mode while receiving messages, thus enabling smoother VOX communications, and (2) it eliminates sidetone during reception, improving intelligibility.
• Special noise-canceling/wind-blocking headsets for maximum clarity and freedom from VOX false-triggering, even in noisier higher speed useÉ with no shouting to be heard.
• Radio communication is simplex, so any number of users can converse on a one-at-a-time basis. The intercom mode is duplex, like a telephone, allowing simultaneous driver-passenger conversations.
• Simple to operate controls allow easy selection from a choice of 14 (FRS) channels and 38 privacy (lockout) codes per channel, ensuring interference-free operation anywhere.
• A large backlighted LCD display helps monitor the selected channels and codes as well as 6 other system icons, including battery condition and transmit/receiver status.
